| Description: | Bicheno is a town that's located on the east coast of Tasmania, Australia, 185 kilometers north-east of Hobart and is part of the Glamorgan/Spring Bay municipality. This is a great place to see the best of what Tasmanian diving has to offer. Kelp beds, marine life in abundance and the occasional presence of large marine mammals are part of the diving experience in this part of Tasmania. The seas around Bicheno hide beautiful caves, swimthroughs and many rocky reefs filled with sponges, anemones and other colorful invertebrates. The depths vary between 15 and 40 meters being suitable for divers of all levels. |

| How to get there: | Bicheno is on the Tasman Highway. North of Hobart, you'll have to make the signposted turn in Campbell Town, if you're coming from Devonport or Launceston. There is also a bus that makes daily trips from Hobart to Bicheno. Several airlines operate daily flights to the international airport of Hobart where you can then travel by bus to this location. |

In terms of activities you can play golf in the Bicheno Golf Club Incorporated, take a glass bottom boat tour, explore Diamond Island, which is just off the coast of Bicheno and play tennis. |
