Name: Lord Howe Island
Description: Lord Howe Island, of volcanic origin, was formed about seven million years ago. It has 57 square kilometers and it's located in the Tasman Sea, about 600 kilometers off the coast of Australia. In this location divers have some dive sites at their disposal, consisting mainly of rocks, swimthroughs, caves, rock outcroppings, rocky pinnacles and areas of marine life observation. The depths of these dive sites are only suitable for divers with advanced diving course.
Geographical Location: Tasman Sea
Water Temperature: The water temperature varies between 17° C in the winter and 25º C in the summer.
Diving Suit: Complete wet suit or wet suit with shorts.
Visibility under water: Visibility between 10 and 40 meters.
Climate: Lord Howe Island has a subtropical climate. Temperatures vary between 20º C and 26º C in the summer and winter temperatures range from 12º C and 18º C.
How to get there: The only way to reach Lord Howe Island is by air means. QantasLink airline makes regular trips of about two hours departing from Sydney or Brisbane to the island of Lord Howe. The same company makes weekly flights departing from Port Macquarie between February and June and between September and December.

Other Activities: This location offers a wide variety of activities and places to visit, such as the Lord Howe Island Museum and visitors Centre, the lagoon and beach lagoon, the valley of the shadows, the Lord Howe Island Marine Park, the Fish 'n Fillet and the Thompsons General Store. In terms of activities you can feed fish in Ned's beach, go birdwatching, kaiaking, go on a round-island boat tour, windsurfing, walking on hiking trails, golfing and relax in the island's spas.
