| Description: | The 8 kilometers of Buzios shelter more than 20 beaches of an impressing beauty and diversity. Origined from a small fisher's villa, it was frequented on the past by french pirates and slave rogues. Nowadays, it is one of the most known balnearies in the world, frequented by pretty and famous people of all sides of the planet. The west side of the peninsula is protected, resulting in calm beaches and warmer waters. The east side is influenced by the open sea, with more agitated beaches and a little colder waters. Several boats get out from Praia da Armação and Ossos, going through the other beaches of the region. Talking about beaches, you have to visit the more than twenty beaches with crystalline waters and wonderfull landscapes, like João Fernandes, Ferradura and Praia Azeda. With warm and crystalline waters, a privileged marine fauna and a good plunge substructure, Búzios became one of the most searched places of Costa Verde to plunge, and that plunging can be practiced on the beaches, islands or coasts. |
