| Description: | Most of the plunge schools of São Paulo do the plunge baptism of their pupils in Paraty due to the fact of its bay being sheltered and due to its marine fauna beauty. The autonomous plunges are made in islands,on which their rocky bases end on the deep sand. Inside the holes formed by the rocks are the bigger fishes like groupers or serranidaes. Swimming near the rocks, there are plenty of small coloured fishes. It is normal to find, during the plunges, rays, crabs, starfishes and even turtles. There are little chorals on the region. |
