| Description: | Porto Seguro has a blessed sea for the practice of plunging. There are several points on the suburbs of Recife de Fora, one of the most beautiful spectacles of the marine fauna and flora, including a huge choral area of several species, where live many types of fishes, as groupers, ciliaries, serranidaes, surgion-fishes, etc. The depths vary between 10 and 15 meters and stay at 5 miles away from the coast. For the ones who like shipwrecks, a good choice is the vessel Navio Castor de Andrade, with 70 meters in length at 16 meters in depth, where the nature makes a true ecologic scenario, lodging the most diversified species. At east, there is a shipwreck of a platform (Bate-Estaca) at a depth of 23 meters, placed at 7 miles away from the coast. |
