Nowadays, Recife has one of the biggest shipwreck parks of Brasil, good for plunging, with its clear and warm waters, equal, in many aspects, to Fernando Noronha's waters; the plunging on the coast of Recife are a fascination for the plunge lovers. To plunge among the ruins of a cabin, to slowly circulate through the waste of a deck or to observe an ancient machinery house, makes the diver visit a longinquous past, on a time machine. The shipwrecks are famous due to their diversified marine life, with huge shoals, forming true alive walls, turtles and big rays. Their nocturn plunges are the most famous in Brasil. With no doubts, it is an excelent place also to practice the technical plunge at all its levels. |
