| Description: | This place was ranked in 1975 and extends from the Pointe Rouge, south of Marseille, to the Cassis bay, with an area of 4000 hectares and 20 kilometers of high cliffs. The Massif des Calanques consists of three Calanques: the Calanque of Callelongue, Calanque of Sormiou and the Calanque of Morgiou. Here divers can dive in 7 diving sites that consist of caves, slopes, and a shipwreck. The seabed is very rich in marine life and has a wonderful landscape that will leave any photographer fascinated. Almost all the diving sites are recommended to divers of all levels, with only the shipwreck being recommended to experienced divers. |

| Climate: | It has a Mediterranean climate with winter temperatures between 5ºC and 13ºC and in the summer between 18°C and 28ºC. |
| How to get there: | The quickest way is to travel to the Marseille airport and then take taxi or rent a car. You may also go by boat from Marseille, Cassis or La Ciotat. |

| Other Activities: | The calanques consist of limestone cliffs with monumental gorges that are very rich in fauna and flora, characterized by numerous endemic species and a rich biodiversity. It is certainly a great place for lovers of the environment and for tourists that like to do trekking. This site is considered natural heritage being very guarded and protected, so it is recommended to be careful with the life on this site and its environment. |
