| Description: | Negros is an island of the Philippines, located in the Visayas group of islands. It is the third largest island in the country with an area of 13,328 kilometers. The islanders are called Negrenses. In this location divers have a wide variety of diving sites at their disposal, consisting mainly of walls, reefs, shipwrecks and areas of marine life observation. The depths vary between 18 and 30 meters being only suitable for divers with advanced diving course. |

| How to get there: | This location can be reached either by air or by sea. You can travel by plane from Cebu City to the Bacolod Airport. You can also travel by ferry from Cebu to Dumaguetes. The trip takes 3 hours and stops in Tabilaran on the island of Bohol. Once you arrive in Dumaguete head to the Ceres bus station to travel to Bacolod via Mabinay. |

| Other Activities: | This location offers a wide variety of activities and places to visit, such as the Toboso Beach Resort Negros, the Pataan waterfalls in Negros Occidental, the Sipalay Beach Resort Negros, Cauayan Beach Resort Negros, the Balinsasayao and Danao twin lakes and the Provincial Capitol of Dumaguete. You can also taste the local cuisine in renowned restaurants and bakeries, go camping, walking on hiking trails and participate in local festivals taking place throughout most of the year. |
