| Description: | Panaon Island is located off the coast of Leyte island in the Philippines at the end of the Sogod bay. It connects to Leyte by a bridge. In this location divers will have a limited number of dive sites at their disposal, consisting mainly of walls, reefs and areas of marine life observation. The depths vary between 10 and 45 meters being suitabel for divers of all levels. |

| How to get there: | The access to this island is made through the Wawa bridge from Liloan. After the strait in Southern Leyte you'll reach Tacloban, an important transport center with many connections with the rest of the archipelago. From Tacloban you'll have to catch only a one-hour flight to Manila, where tourists have several international options. You can also catch a ferry or bus to Manila, although travel times are between 25 and 30 hours. |
