| Description: | The Rolas Islet is a small island in the archipelago of Sao Tome and Principe located in the Gulf of Guinea, south of the island of Sao Tome. Of volcanic origin, located exactly under the Equator. The main and almost only, economic activity is tourism, after the construction of a luxury resort. A permanent population of about 200 people have their survival directly linked to tourism. Can observe big fish being most of them endemic. Due to the different ocean currents around the Rolas Islet, fauna and flora are very rich. There are caves, arches and cliffs that descend to the white sand at the bottom. Clear water with good visibility and few currents allow a safe deep dive. |

| Other Activities: | The island has numerous trails and takes around 2 hours to walk around. You can walk up to the Equator line marker and also up to the lighthouse which has lovely views of the island. |
