It is the legislative capital of South Africa, where the National Parliament and many government offices are located. In this location divers have a wide variety of diving sites at their disposal, composed mainly of reefs, walls, swimthroughs, rocky outcrops, rock pinnacles, shipwrecks and areas of marine life observation. The depths vary between 5 and 40 meters, covering various levels of diving. |

| Water Temperature: | The water temperature ranges from cold to mild. The sea on the Atlantic coast of Cape Town has an annual temperature of about 13° C due to the cold Benguela currents. On the coast of False Bay, the water temperature varies between 16 and 17º C throughout the year due to the mild Agulhas currents. |
| Diving Suit: | Complete wet suit for the False Bay coast and semi-dry suit for the Atlantic coast of Cape Town. |
