Name:	Cantabrian Coast
Description:	Located on the north coast of Spain between Asturias and the Basque Country, Cantabria it is a lush land whose name originated in Cantabri, a Celtic people that the Romans considered the fiercest of the entire Iberian Peninsula. It is an area not very well known throughout Spain, with some first-class attractions for visitors and easy to reach. The Cantabrian Coast has three excellent dive sites: Bancha del Este, Pikatxilla and El Pozo Azul, where divers can practice various types of diving. These dive sites are recommended to divers of all levels.

Water Temperature:	Water temperature between 18ºC and 25ºC.
Diving Suit:	Complet wet suit or wet suit with shorts.
Visibility under water:	Visibility between 10 and 30 meters.
Climate:	It has a moderate climate with temperatures around 25°C during the summer.
How to get there:	You have several means of transport available to go to Cantabrian Coast. It is easily reached by bus or train from Bilbao. You also have the possibility to go by plane, since there is several daily flights. The other possibility is by ferry but it's a little expensive.
When to go:	June July August September October
Other Activities:	In Cantabrian, you will have many places to visit. You can visit several old village, historic caves, Roman ruins, houses and places of the Century 16 and 17, castles, churches and monuments. Without doubt a place with many historic sites to visit. If you prefer to relax, you can visit the various beaches, hiking or walking through forests or visit the various Natural Parks and Reserves.
