| Description: | Santa Marina Island is the largest of all the small islands of Cantabrian. It is located at east of the entrance of the bay of Santander. Its appearance is quite long and flat and without buildings. It is well known among surfers because of the good waves that tend to grow nearby. For divers, this is an area with a sand bottom and rocks and also many holes and crevices where they may find many crabs, octopus, gorgonians and algae. Santa Marina have two sites with good conditions for diving, Las Anglas and Santa Marina. |
