Name: Alec's Caverns
Description: This dive site is characterized by being a cave compost of a coral reef. There are also other caves and tunnels formed by corals with multiple entries and exits. These tunnels and caves are crossed by a fascinating lighting so it isn't necessary to use artificial light in this area. For the main cavern you have to use a flashlight to observe the vegetation and marine life. This site was named in honor of Alec Blackwell, a member of Small Hope Bay family.
Fauna and Flora: In terms of fauna and flora, the most common species are the several coral species, sponges, shoal of Pempheris Schomburgki and nurse sharks.
