Name: Alice
Description: The Alice was built in 1866 and measured 53 meters long and 6.6 meters wide. It was chartered by the Brazilian government to carry Brazilian troops in the war of Paraguay and at March 30, 1869, the Crown Prince Gaston d'Orleans (Comte d'Eu) climbed into it to take command of the Brazilian army. Today is just 3.5 miles from the extremity of Bessa and is at 12 meters deep. The bow is the part that is preserved, at 7.5 meters from the surface.
Maximum depth: 12 m
Water Temperature: Water temperature around 28ºC.
Diving Suit: Wet suit with shorts
Visibility under water: Water visibility can reach 30m in the summer, but on average is between 10 and 20m.
When to go: January   February   March   December
