Name: American Wreck
Description: This dive site is characterized by the wreck of a minesweeper owned by the U.S. Navy of WWII. It is located 24 kilometers south of Labuan and at 30 meters depth. After several minesweeping operations in the Philippines, the ship began operating in Brunei Bay, where it hit a mine in 1945. The dive shows that the stern is fairly intact with the bow facing the stern of the ship. There's a huge third part of the ship on the starboard of the stern which clearly shows the damage caused by the mine. The wreck can be penetrated but you should be very cautious since the ship is in a state of collapse and has ammunition with active explosives around it.
