Name: Madeirense
Description: Ship that performed the crossings between Funchal and Porto Santo. It was sunk in order to create an artificial reef on 21 October 2000.
Fauna and Flora: There is usually yellow tale amber jacks, white trevaly, groupers, ballan wrasse and Damsel fish.
Diving Types: Sightseeing Wreck Dive Deep Diving Identifying sea life
Maximum depth: 34 m
Water Temperature: The sea temperature is about 17ºC on Winter and 25ºC on Summer.
Diving Suit: In the Winter semi-dry suit and on the Summer wet suit with shorts.
Visibility under water: The limpid, calm and crystalline waters, with a colour that favours the visibility from more than 25 meters far.
When to go: July   August   September
