Name: Thesen's Jetty
Description: This dive site is characterized by being a shallow dive and with visibility sometimes limited to 2 meters. The site is located on the Knysna Lagoon, being recommended to dive when the tide is full. The most interesting area to explore is the area near the cement pier that is a sanctuary of seahorses. A dive recommended to divers all levels and for snorkelers.
Fauna and Flora: In terms of fauna and flora, the most common species are the Knysna's Native seahorse and a large quantity of marine vegetation.
Diving Types: Sightseeing Identifying sea life
Maximum depth: 10 m
Water Temperature: The water temperature is about 25º C in the winter and 19º C in the summer.
Diving Suit: Complete wet suit or wet suit with shorts.
Visibility under water: Visibility between 5 and 30 meters.
When to go: May   June   July   August   September   October
