Name: Anemone Reef
Description: Anemone Reef or Hin Jom (that means underwater rock) is a single large rock covered with anemones, especially green, blue or purple. Most dives start at the base of the rock, where you can see leopard sharks and bamboo sharks sleeping. From this point you can dive gradually into less surface around the flat rock. This ends at 5 meters below the surface, a great place for a safety stop. It had reached the surface, until being hit by a "King Cruiser", falling 5 meters. Anemone Reef is a diving point especially beautiful because of the underwater scenery exceptionally colorful. Naturalism underwater, fish identification, photography and filming are some of the specialties of diving you should do here and not elsewhere in the region of Phuket.
Fauna and Flora: The large number of anemones is the reason why five different species of clownfish inhabit this reef. Other beings, such as the anemone crabs, shrimp, morays, yellow morays and poisonous sea snakes can be seen swimming around the rocks. Groups of lion-fish, porcelain-crabs, gorgonians and many other common reef fish can be seen here. Enjoy this fantastic diving point that will provide many encounters with marine life.

Water Temperature: Water temperature at around 26ºC.
Diving Suit: Wet suit with shorts.
Visibility under water: Visibility often exceeding 30 meters, extending sometimes up to 45 meters.
