Name: Anita's Reef
Description: There are two very small islands at west of the island Koh Miang, known as number 5 islands and Koh Payu. An exceptional diving point between these two islands is the Anita's reef, where you will find many inhabitants of Similan. The reef is very stimulating and has few slopes with some heads of spectacular coral, pebbles and coral fragments.
Fauna and Flora: You can see nudibranchs, stone fish and pipe fish. In the sandy stretches keep your eyes open for stingrays Khul and morays of garden peeking out of the sand and giants sea cucumbers. Many reef fish most common like balloon-fish, angel fish, pork-fish, oriental sweetlips and Pompano dolphinfish can be found near the coral formations.
Diving Types: Sightseeing Deep Diving
Maximum depth: 28 m
Water Temperature: Water temperature between 27ºC and 29ºC.
Diving Suit: Wet suit with shorts.
Visibility under water: Visibility between 20 and 40 meters.
When to go: January   February   March   April   November   December
