| Description: | This dive site is characterized by a reef which lies off the west side of Goat Island. It is an ideal place for underwater photography because of the wide variety of vegetation and marine life. It also provides an excellent night due to the several marine species that come out of their hidings to feed. This dive requires some kind of artificial lighting to observe the marine fauna hidden among the overhangs and crevices. |
| Fauna and Flora: | In terms of fauna and flora, the most common species are soft and hard corals, tube sponges, barrel sponges, encrusting sponges, hydroids, gorgonians, sea whips, sea plumes, midnight parrotfish, wrasses, french grunts, gruntfish, chromis, goatfish, black margates, coneys, Nassau groupers, yellowhead jawfish, turtles, eagle rays, white trevallies, snappers, nurse sharks, peacock flounders, scorpionfish, arrow crabs, angelfish and butterflyfish. |
