Name: Aquarium
Description: This dive site is characterized by a reef that extends from the shore to a group of rocks that rise above the surface, known as Weather Rocks. This dive should only be made with good sea conditions. It requires a rapid descent since a prolonged stay on the surface can drag the diver into the jagged rocks or into deeper waters. This site was called Aquarium because of its abundance of marine life and vegetation.
Fauna and Flora: In terms of fauna and flora, the most common species are tube sponges, barrel sponges, encrusting sponges, soft and hard corals, gorgonians, sea whips, creole wrasses, chromis, gruntfish, green turtles, hawksbill turtles, stingrays, green morays, lobsters, barracudas, tarpons, schooling barracudas and bogues.
