Common Name: A bivalve mollusc
Description: Oval shell, rounded anterior part, triangular posterior region; arched inferior board. Thin and concentric grooves and growth grooves.
Habitat: Slimy mobile depths (or sandy), infralittoral (estuaries), circalittoral and also bathyal.
Color: White colour.
Dimensions: 2 cm in length.
Geographical Distribution: Atlantic Ocean
