Common Name: Gianteye Squid
Description: Very large eye and tentacles about as long as the body. Triangular fins on each side, which later unite into a single termination point. Five light organs around the lower third of the eye, the two outermost are great, while the interior is similar to three small points.
Habitat: Usually lives in deep waters on continental plates, in a surface of 180 meters, however, sometimes migrate to shallow waters at night to feed.
Color: Color ranging from bluish gray to pale brown, usually covered with small dots and dark spots.
Dimensions: It has a maximum of 4 cm, but, usually has between 2 to 3 cm.
