Common Name: Honeycomb cowfish
Description: It has a prominent spine in front of each eye, and another that is projected in each lower rear corner of the body armor. It feeds on sponges, Alcyone, tunicates, and shrimp.
Habitat: It occurs in clear waters around coral reefs. It occurs at depths between 3 and 80 meters.
Color: Olive green to bluish body with a pentagon or a dark hexagon on each dermal plate; it features a dark reticulated pattern on the snout.
Dimensions: Up to 50 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Western Atlantic
