Common Name: Shortnose sturgeon
Description: Short V-shaped snout. Short barbels. The head and the dorsum are dark, the lower surface is white.
Habitat: Demersal, inhabiting lakes, estuaries, bays and occasionally goes into the open sea.
Dimensions: Up to 143 centimeters in lenght.
