Common Name: Sturgeon
Description: Body covered by ganoid scales, with five series of osseal shields (lateral, with twenty-six to thirty-six shields). Elongated, depressed head; a tight and pointed muzzle. Threatened species, actually very rare.
Habitat: Littoral, it makes the spawning on rivers.
Color: Grey or brownish-grey coloured back, whitish (with silvered reflections) abdomen.
Dimensions: It reaches 1 m-2 m in length.
