Common Name: Sea anemone European
Description: The animal usually wraps a mollusc shell ( Gibbula, Lunatia, for example) inhabitated by a hermit-crab (Pagurus prideauxi, for example). Its mouth is found above the internal surface of the shell, which allows it to capture the nutritious particles left by the hermit-scrab.
Habitat: Infra and circalittoral depths.
Color: Whitish or rosy colour, with circular carmine stains. White tentacles.
