Common Name: Redmouth Grouper
Description: The body and the fins of this fish are black, although some adults have a lighter band in the venter, just behind the pectoral fin. Juveniles are black or dark gray with the distal margin of the caudal fin in a white color.
Habitat: Coastal reefs and frontal reef slopes at depths between 3 and 54 meters.
Color: Black or dark gray.
Dimensions: Up to 60 centimeters.
