Common Name: Southern spearnose poacher
Description: This fish has two spines pointing forward at the end of the snout.
Habitat: Demersal. Found on soft bottoms at depths between 42 and 91 meters.
Color: Brown to blackish, with about 7 dark bars on the sides; lighter on the venter. Fins with light bands.
Dimensions: Up to 15 centimeters in Total Lenght.
Geographical Distribution: Eastern Central Pacific
