Common Name: Northern spearnose poacher
Description: Pointed snout, with two spines on the extremity. It has 12 spines and 14-16 soft rays on the dorsal fin; the anal fin has 2 spines and 12-14 soft rays.
Habitat: Demersal. It inhabits depths between 0 and 163 meters.
Color: Brown on the upper part; whitish on the venter. The pelvic fins are dark brown with white tips.
Dimensions: Up to 20 centimeters in Total Lenght.
