Common Name: Threadfin bonefish
Description: It is ventrally shiny silver and dorsally dark. The last rays of the dorsal and anal fins are extended. The upper lobe of the caudal fin is slightly longer than the lower lobe. It has a dark spot at the base of the pectoral fin. The region of the head has no scales. The snout has black bands.
Habitat: Demersal, found in soft bottoms, at depths up to 50 meters.
Color: Ventrally shiny silver and dorsally dark.
Dimensions: Up to 51 centimeters in lenght.
