Common Name: Bigeye thresher
Description: It differs from the previous species by presenting two horizontal sulci on the superior part of the head. The ocular diameter and the muzzle's length are proportionally bigger than in A. Vulpinus. First dorsal placed nearer the pelvic fins than the pectoral ones.
Habitat: Epipelagic (it can be found at 500 m profoundness), on neritic or oceanic water.
Color: Dark-blue to purplish grey coloured back; greyish or whitish abdomen.
Dimensions: It can reach 3 m to 4 m in length.
