Common Name: Snapping Shrimp
Description: Carapace with three lumps on the back along the whole length. Pincers with the same dimensions. It is shy and quickly hides when divers approach.
Habitat: It lives in areas of rock, sand and rocky debris at dephts between 2 and 12 meters. During the day it hides in holes and under debris.
Color: Body with alternating red and white stripes, but the scientific literature does not indicate the color so it is not certain that these colors are the typical color of this species.
Dimensions: It usually has between 2.5 and 7.5 cm, but can reach 10 cm.
