Common Name: Brownstripe Octopus
Description: Texture of the skin form a reticulated pattern of fragments in narrow folds. It may have small and rounded protuberances on the mantle. Small eggs, about 0.15 cm, are carried in the arms of the female.
Habitat: It lives in sea grass, muddy and sandy bottoms adjacent to reefs, at depths between 4.5 and 23 meters.
Color: Dark band along each arm and frontal white dots, white stripe in the mantle. Colour and pattern, generally, are variables with reddish brown spots to brownish gray.
Dimensions: It has between 15 to 30 cm in length.
