Common Name: Pygmy moray
Description: It varies from uniform dark brown to spotted. It has an irregular pattern of clear markings on the lower area of the head. They have two pores beneath each eye. Rear nostrils are located between the eyes.
Habitat: Associated with shallow reefs, undeveloped corals and steep rocky slopes, at depths between 0 and 200 meters.
Color: Dark brown.
Dimensions: Up to 20 centimeters in lenght.
Geographical Distribution: Western Atlantic Eastern Atlantic Northwest Atlantic
