Common Name: Stout eelblenny
Description: Relatively robust body, especially in the front portion. The dorsal and anal fins are higher in the rear portion, very attached to the rounded tail fin. The body is yellowish with small dark brown specks and spots. The dorsal fin has narrow reddish brown bars as well as 59-73 dorsal spines. It feeds on small benthic invertebrates.
Habitat: Found in muddy funds, at depths between 30 and 100 meters.
Color: Yellowish and brown.
Dimensions: Up to 30 centimeters in total lenght.
Geographical Distribution: North Pacific Ocean Northwest Atlantic Northeast Atlantic
