Common Name: Smooth alligatorfish
Description: It has only a small dorsal fin. Dorsal fin with 5-6 soft rays and anal fin with 4-5 soft rays. The tail fin is well rounded.
Habitat: Demersal. Usually found among rocks at depths between 8 and 102 meters.
Color: Dorsally brown, ventrally brownish gray; darker band from the snout to the base of the pectoral fin. Dark caudal fin with light areas.
Dimensions: Up to 15 centimeters in Total Lenght.
Geographical Distribution: North Pacific Ocean
