| Description: | Fish of globular form with modified pectoral fins resembling legs, complete with "feet". The small gill openings are not covered by bony plates, and the first dorsal spine (illicium ") is important to attract prey which it feeds. This species has a short illicium with the base inserted just behind the upper jaw. |
