Common Name: Black scabbardfish
Description: Dorsal with a contour separating the thorny part from the soft part. A strong thorn following next to the anus.
Habitat: Benthopelagic (bathyal, between 180 m and 1600 m).
Color: Dark colour (or a very dark brown).
Dimensions: Until 1,5 m in length.
Geographical Distribution: Atlantic Ocean
