Common Name: Sea squirt, ascidian
Description: Globular colonies, with a narrower base than the superior part. Zooids with eight oral lobes; tem to fifteen layers of stigmas; eighteen to twenty two pleats on the stomach (sometimes in short segments); ovary under the intestinal bend and male follicles on the inferior part of the ovary.
Habitat: Infralittoral.
Color: Semitranslucent.
Dimensions: 1 cm-2 cm in heigth.
