Common Name: Marine sponge
Description: It forms small towers that presents an osculum at the top, which is smooth. The basis diameter is substantially similar to its superior part. Strings with medulla.
Habitat: Underwater caves and circalittoral depths.
Color: The clear-yellow colour becomes violet when placed in alcohol.
Dimensions: 3 cm to 4 cm in height and 1 cm to 2 cm diameter.
