Common Name: Convuluted Barrel Sponge
Description: It grow's solitary or in small groups, it has thick-walled tubes that connect in one area with a 1cm diameter. Deeply convuluted and pitted exteriors with 10mm depressions (deep and wide). It has an apical opening with about 3.5cm. Tough consistency however their stiffness may vary between individuals.
Habitat: Reefs and walls in depths between 10 and 25m. When atached to solid substrate they grow upright like barrels while in walls they grow outward and they are longer and thiner.
Color: Exterior walls between dark green and yellow-green, with depressions between yellow-green and yellow. Interior walls have yellow pores. It's common to find algae or other organisms on it's surface.
Dimensions: Until 35cm height and 10cm of diameter
