Common Name: Ringtailed Cardinalfish
Description: This fish is copper colored, posteriorly clearer. It has a black stripe, embroidered with a blue line from the snout through the eye and a narrow blue line on the jaw. The caudal peduncle has a black band in both the adult and the juvenile phases.
Habitat: Inshore reefs, reef lagoons, frontal reef slopes and walls, at depths between 1 and 50 meters.
Color: Copper color.
Dimensions: Up to 14 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Indian Ocean Western Pacific
