Common Name: Ochrestriped Cardinalfish, Blue-eye Cardinalfish
Description: Juveniles have a dark spot on the caudal peduncle. Adults have bands that can be brown to black, and the eyes are blue. It feeds on zooplankton and it occurs in small to large groups. Juveniles swim solitarily.
Habitat: Coastal reefs and lagoons, at depths between 1 and 20 meters.
Dimensions: Up to 12 centimeters.
