Common Name: Blackbanded Cardinalfish
Description: This fish has silvery white stripes on the body with light to dark brown inter-spaces. It has a band originating from the snout, passing above the eye, converging with the middle stripe of the body. It is usually a solitary fish, but it can also form shoals in areas where it's more common.
Habitat: Coastal adjacent reefs and reef lagoons, at depths between 1 and 10 meters.
Color: Brown and silvery white.
Dimensions: Up to 10 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Indo-West Pacific
