Common Name: Bridled Cardinalfish
Description: Individuals belonging to this species have a small basicaudal spot centered at the level of the medio-lateral band. This spot is not visible at depth or at night. They swim singly or in small groups.
Habitat: It lives in estuaries, reef lagoons and frontal reef slopes at depths between 3 and 35 meters.
Dimensions: Up to 12 centimeters.
