Common Name: Hartzfeld's Cardinalfish, Silverlined Cardinalfish
Description: Juveniles have two white stripes along each side of the body. The posterior portion of these bands disappear as they grow. The coloration of the fish varies from gray to copper-brown. It has a black spot on the caudal peduncle. It occurs solitarily or in large schools, and it can mix with other fish of the same gender.
Habitat: Inshore reefs, protected reefs, reef lagoons, at depths between 1 and 8 meters.
Color: Gray to copper-brown.
Dimensions: Up to 10 centimeters.
