Common Name: Spotted Cardinalfish
Description: It is a pinkish-orange fish with rows of dark spots along the sides of the body and a dark spot at the base of the tail fin. They occur singly or in dispersed groups. They feed mainly on crustaceans, but they also consume polychaetes, gastropods and fish.
Habitat: Coral and rocky reefs at depths between 1 and 153 meters.
Color: Pinkish-orange.
Dimensions: Up to 14 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Eastern Central Pacific
