Common Name: Redstriped Cardinalfish, Pearly Cardinalfish
Description: This fish has two central bands along the sides of the body. It also is brownish-copper to bright reddish orange along the dorsum. It occurs in groups with individuals forming pairs.
Habitat: Algal beds adjacent to coastal reefs, at depths between 1 and 10 meters.
Color: Brownish-copper to bright reddish orange.
Dimensions: Up to 7 centimeters.
Geographical Distribution: Western Central Pacific
